Good advice, seeing as how there was a LOT of spilled milk here. Ashley, my seven year old doesn't have much use of her right hand. She was valiantly attempting to help me put some groceries away and dropped a plastic gallon of milk in the kitchen. She was devastated and ran crying from the room. I told her she wasn't in trouble at all. Accidents happen and I'd never ever be angry with her for trying to use her hand and help. I felt so badly for her. Here's a picture of the cleanup process. Towels and siblings to the rescue!
The other kids are great with her and encourage her to stretch and try things. She's a great kid and I admire her for her determination to do things for herself. She's a great example to me. Have I mentioned that I love this littlest angel of mine? Here's a picture of her and the rest of the kids taken with Santa at Christmas.
